Waste plastic bottles are collected from beaches and recycling points in eastern Sri Lanka and the bottle tops are separated from the bottle, shredded and compressed into a range of items such as these buttons, ideal for bags and clothing that aim to protect the environment. Featuring a mix of different coloured tops, the buttons have a marbled grey effect and no two are the same.
