Coconut shell bowls - smooth; 3 sizes

These bowls are handmade from coconut shells which have been discarded from the coconut food industry. This makes them a wonderfully sustainable addition to the dining table, by repurposing waste materials that would otherwise go to landfill or be burnt. They come in three sizes - the classic, which is ideal for serving rice, curries, salads, cereals and smoothies; the mega, suitable for extra large portions; and the mini, which makes a lovely little desert bowl or side dish. Each one is sanded inside and out for a smooth finish, and polished with a natural, food-safe bees' wax. Dining as mother nature intended!

Sizes vary due to the uniqueness of individual coconuts, but are approximately:
CLASSIC: diameter 13 cms (5") height 7 cms (2.75")
MEGA: diameter 14.5 cms (5.75") height 9.5 cms (3.75")
MINI: diameter 12 cms (4.75"), height 5.5 cms (2")

CARE FOR YOUR COCONUT SHELL BOWL: hand-wash and dry as soon as possible after use. Polish occasionally with a very small amount of coconut oil (or oil of your choice) to help keep them shiny. Not suitable for boiling hot liquids or for use in a microwave, and do not leave liquid sitting inside them for prolonged periods of time.
