These extra long spoons are typical of those used in Sri Lankan cooking and serving. They are handcrafted from a section of coconut shell attached with small nails to wooden handles that have been decorated with traditional Sri Lankan lacquer. Spoons like these have been used in rural Sri Lankan kitchens for centuries, and will add a touch of authenticity when making and serving curries, vegetables and rice.
