Traditional scenes: Lotus flower gatherers - painting on paper; framed

The lotus flower is a symbol of Buddhist devotion, and here a couple are gathering them from a lake to be used as offerings in Buddhist temples. In the background can be seen Buddhist stupas (or dagobas) similar to those found in the ancient Sri Lankan capital of Anuradhapura. This tranquil scene would fit any quiet corner in the home. Painted on paper with a simple wooden frame ready to hang, the picture can easily be removed and reframed with mounts according to your choice.
