These nifty little coasters are handmade out of newspaper strips which have been dyed bright colours. Protected by the glue that holds them together, they can be wiped clean, but not immersed in water. They come in a set of six (all the same colour), with their own holder also woven out of newspaper. An ideal ecological gift.

Colourful coasters from Sri Lanka

These wonderful coasters, made from recycled newspaper by female cooperatives in Sri Lanka, bring fabulous spots of colour to my dining table!
