Traditional scenes: Busy Kitchen - painting on paper; framed

Enjoy the bustling activity in the kitchen of a walluwa (traditional Sri Lankan mansion). The lady of the house presides over the chef stirring the pot, the workers grinding chillies on a stone mortar (left) and cutting jackfruit or grinding coconuts (lower right) while a fish trader passes by. Hanging from the ceiling are clay pots of buffalo curd and a big bunch of bananas. A delightful scene that would brighten up any kitchen wall. Painted on paper with a simple wooden frame ready to hang. Picture can easily be removed and reframed with mounts according to your choice.
