Painting on wood - King's procession

This traditional Buddhist temple-style scene is painted on a repurposed wooden plank by an artist from a family of temple painters in Sri Lanka. It depicts a king sitting on an elephant in a procession, with traditional motifs such as the sun panel and small canopy in the background.
