Newspaper and cotton woven placemats

How about this for up-cycling ingenuity: table mats made of strips of newspaper woven together with cotton thread, which can be rolled up when not in use. Each mat uses a variety of plain and coloured newspaper strips, and no two are the same. Handmade by women in Sri Lanka, they are an ecological way to set the table! Sold singly or in pairs. Matching table runner also available.
