If you are looking for an eco-friendly, upcycled bag for collecting garden waste during the pruning season, these huge bags with handles are ideal. Made from a double layer of used rice sacks, they are strong (imagine the weight of a sack of rice that these were originally intended to carry), lightweight and colourful. Handmade by women at a Fair Trade company on the east coast of Sri Lanka, they make light work of a gardening chore. Blue, orange and yellow colours available, all with coral colour on the other side.
